Who We Are
Not Just a Room. A Real Getaway.
People often ask what there is to do here. The truth is, it depends on the time of year and what you’re looking for. In summer, the sand is soft and warm, and you’ll see kayaks and paddleboards just offshore. There’s always someone building a driftwood fort or searching for shells. Fishing is huge around here, especially when the salmon start running in early fall—locals and visitors both show up, waders and all.
Our beachfront resort in Qualicum Beach is close to some great hiking trails. If you’re up for a drive, there’s mountain biking and even skiing at Mt. Washington. The Horne Lake Caves are nearby, and there’s no shortage of local spots for a quick bite or a cold drink after a day outside.
In the evening, folks tend to gather around the fire pit or slip into the hot tub. Sometimes the sky is clear enough for stars, sometimes you just hear the waves. Either way, it’s a good way to end the day.

Deep Bay Marina had excellent fish & chips, and the ice-cream shop in Bowser had 32 flavours to choose from. What more could you ask for! Every suite here faces the water. Open your window and you’ll hear birds in the morning—herons, maybe a bald eagle. The suites are made for real life, not just a weekend visit. There’s a full kitchen, a comfortable bed, and space to spread out. If you want to cook, go ahead. If you’d rather just watch the tide come in with a coffee in hand, that’s fine too.
This isn’t the kind of oceanfront accommodation on Vancouver Island where you feel rushed. Take your time. If you need anything, just ask—we’re around, but we’ll give you space if that’s what you want.
